  Please forgive me...!!

  i'm new here and this is the first post i make (i promise that more will come).

  i have been following most of the posts made here quietly for about 4 months and i would like to thank all of you who are called apostates for the well documented and researched material you have presented here.thanks to you i know now the truth about the wt organization and i'm no longer blind and misled.

  i disassociated myself about 2 months ago after 15 years of very "faithful" service to the society.i was regular pioneer for 12 years and an elder for 8 years, i served mainly as the service overeer.my experience was published in the 2 of the society's magazins.. as i was a very zealous and prominent elder in my circuit i zealously promoted the organizational rules and i allowed myself to be fully used by the society to promote those mind controle techniques that now i know hurt those who were my sheep.

  1925 versus 1975

  1925 versus 1975 .

  most here are familiar with the failed prophecy of 1975. there were large increases in '74 and '75 and declines for the next three or four years after failed prophecy.

  now, the impact was far more devestating in 1925. i just ran into some interesting numbers on this subject.

  Should We Be Imitators

  wt always claimed that everyone imitates somebody.

  they said that they were imitating jehovah, jesus, isaiah, or some other bible character in some ways or another.

  they claimed the rest of mankind were imitating their own idols, heros, and ultimately, the devil.

  What I believe is a message that he would likely not know he was writing until he had. The spiritual message isn't instructions or history. Jwism has never got it about "inspired".

  Jw role during armageddon

  i have a quick question.... what will be the role of the jw duing the great tribulation (after the un starts to wipe out all religion on earth) ?

  i was talking to a jw and he said the jws will do something no one expects!

  ...uh hu spooky spooky...does any one know what he was talking about?.

  The Pot Calling the Kettle Black

  i wonder sometimes if to outsiders who visit this and other xjw discussion boards it seems as if xjws never "bought the farm" and that's why they look down on those who did.

  there is much ridicule of the rank and file here, why?

  if we placed literature, conducted a bible study, brought a bible study to the point of baptism, gave talks, commented at the watchtower study, volunteered,

  Strangely enough, the meaning of "righteous" is virtually the opposite of jwism. The righteous act 'rightly' as they marginalise their own fate.

  I think 'nazi idol' sounds better.

  As for "buying the farm" - the beef is that there is no farm - only pictures for getting more down payments.

  Yes the pot is calling the kettle black - the truth just won't be contained - and the kettle's been spouting off about being white.

  Sanity

  just for the sake of clarification and because it seems to be a 'forbidden' topic in jw circles.... let's talk psychology and the definition of sanity and not sanity.. in 'life', by the loose (but accurate) definition of western medicine, 'sanity' is nothing more than this:.

  "can you take care of yourself without hurting anyone else?".

  beyond that, no one cares if you think the moon is made of green cheese or charles russel is playing the bongos in your pantry.. no one is mandated to step in and help you and no one can legally stop you, as long as...'you can take care of yourself without hurting anyone else'.. .
